EPI board taps Mishel as president The board of directors of the Economic Policy Institute today announced that Lawrence Mishel will be the institute’s second president. Mishel, currently EPI’s vice president, has been with the institute for 15 years, 12 of them as director of research. As of August he will succeed Jeff Faux, who was the principal founder of the organization in 1986 and has led it as CEO through its first 16 years...
