Yes, more than 40% last time I checked. No wonder. Don't these journalists have any professional pride? Any sense of duty? Any reputation they want to defend?

Maybe you heard what Henry Hyde said on the House floor yesterday:

"There is a direct connection between the war in Iraq and the bombing of September 11th. Our response to the bombing of September 11th is Iraq."

I'm beginning to feel like The Onion's story a while back -- "Democrats Suffering Outrage Fatigue".

"Our response to the bombing of September 11th *is* Iraq."

Well, that is a connection, isn't it?

You either love Cheney and Rove dearly and unquestioningly - "fawningly" will do - or you die. Your choice, what could be fairer?

If you're not with these fools - then you are the enemy. Is this clear enough for you?

Saddam never loved the US truly, and neither does Osama. In fact they both hate what the US stands for! This is beyond mere thought crime, they're both clearly agin' us! Only girlie-boys can't make the connection.

You know it was never about the brains that weren't handed out to these guys behind Bush, or the education that they never received. It was only ever a question of whether they had enough ruthlessness, sufficient cunning, to get and keep themselves elected. Roughly half of the electors still think these guys are smarter than themselves, and they're probably right.

Same goes for the pseudojournos who defer to the true lies of Cheney and Team Dubya. Questioning the lies would make you the enemy, wouldn't it, and besides we're all so pomo these days.

Henry Hyde? I thought he was on his deathbed. Tant pis.

Cheney has moved beyond disgusting in recent weeks and it only remains to see just how far and where he will go next.

We wonder how the Germans were conned into starting WWII!

Isn't it horrible? The ruling junta and its minions simply repeat over and over the same propaganda points endlessly. If they merely confuse people, it has served its purpose.

They don't have the press attacking them every time they do this. Just passes on the words without any explanation. When a Democrat says ANYTHING, it is examined and parsed to death.

This is why we go from defeat to defeat. This will continue (note how they ruined Dean, for example. Especially when he was right about Iraq and taxes and Oversize Me Media!).
