Just because a majority says something, and there are a lot of them, does that mean they are speaking the truth? I wouldn't bet on that. I mean, a lot of us believed Richard Nixon, thought he was a great guy, and voted for him. Did that mean that what HE said was TRUE? "I am not a crook" Those words still ring in my ears over 25 years later.

I'd look into what people are saying, investigate things more deeply, rather than simply assume that what people are saying is true, just because so many say it. And, another thing: there are a number of the SVfT accounts that, much like Kerry's shipmates' accounts, contradict each other. Let's just say, they ALL were in the middle of fighting a nasty war. I doubt the foremost thing on anyone's mind was, "Gee, I have to remember what John Kerry is doing RIGHT NOW, so I can diss the trash out of him when he runs for President, thirty years from now."
