VERY funny stuff, that. Take out the word "Berkeley", put in the name of damn near any other university and the joke still works.
That puts me in mind of the current fight I am having with the superannuated academics who think they run the Internet. In their view the world should wait a year or five while they come up with an academically excellent solution to the problems of spam and phishing crime that do not exist rather than apply simple solutions to address the ones that do exist and are hurting real people.
