Richard Cheney: Underbriefed, Insane, or Senile?

Another statement from Richard Cheney that simply could not be made by someone fully briefed, oriented to time and place, and in full command of his faculties:

Forbes.com: DAVOS-Cheney says U.S. budget deficit "manageable": U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney said on Saturday the U.S. budget deficit was "manageable" but added that Washington continued to aim for a balanced budget in the long run. "I believe deficits do matter but I'm also a great believer in the policy we're following. It was very important for us to reduce the tax burden on the American economy," he told political and business leaders gathered at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss mountain resort of Davos. However, he said the current U.S. budget deficit was not overly large when measured as a percentage of the nation's overall output. "We think it is manageable," Cheney said."
