Why did I never realize how good Dar Williams's "Another Mystery" is? How is it managed to hide itself in my record collection unnoticed for so long?

is "It Happens Everyday" which has insinuated itself into my subconscious. Do you know "Persuasion" from Richard Thompson?
I am never sure whether to listen to a new record deeply (not just many times the day I buy it), but again in a week, again in a month), or try to listen to many different records...God, I have dated myself.
Actually, I have moved everything I own onto my hardrive, shuffle it, and rarely listen to albums anymore.

Of course, "Another Mystery" isn't one of my favorite songs on that album. I prefer "After All", "And a God Descended", "It Happens Everyday", "I Won't Be Your Yoko Ono", "Spring Street"... actually, every other song on that album, come to think of it. Hmmm.

"After All" and "It Happens Everyday" take my votes for that album. "The Mercy of the Fallen" for the latest one, and, let's see, "Are You Out There", "Iowa", "When I Was a Boy".... err, yeah, anyway. :)
Lately have been listening to a lot of Girlyman and (sigh) Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer.
