Is smear racially loaded? Those who oppose Bush's policy do so because they don't think Arabs have the genes to self-govern. Yup, that's racially loaded.
Is Will a potential target? Bush aimed the smear at those who criticize his Iraq policy. If Will were contemplating criticizing Bush's Iraq policy, he would be a "potential target," no?
Which part didn't make any sense?
