Loved that book. It makes a great pairing with Reading Lolita in Tehran.

My twin boys are reading The Girl in Hyacinth Blue by Susan Vreeland as part of their reading
this summer; it's an interesting and thought provoking book. I also purchased Chasing Vermeer
by Blue Balliett which they was great fun
