A Worrisome Trend...
That makes three graduate students in the past three days who have asked me if they might borrow a book from me, because "all the good books are checked out of the library and recall doesn't work."
So far this week I am down:
- Robert Bates (1984), Markets and States in Tropical Africa (Berkeley: University of California Press: 0520052293).
- Francois Furet (1999), The Passing of an Illusion (Chicago: University of Chicago: 0226273407).
- Paul Blustein (2005), And the Money Kept Rolling in (and Out): Wall Street, the IMF, and the Bankrupting of Argentina (New York: PublicAffairs: 1586482459).
- Iain M. Banks (2004), The Algebraist (London: Orbit: 1841491551).
