The Bush Budget Clown Show Continues

Max Sawicky observes that Bush claims that the deficit would be reduced by half by fiscal 2009 are now inoperative:

MaxSpeak, You Listen!: DOG BITES MAN: February, 2004: President releases budget proposal that claims to reduce deficit to 1.6 percent of GDP by 2009, less than half of the 2004 level of 3.6 percent.

December, 2004: President approves budget that implies FY2009 deficit will be 3.4 percent of GDP.

Another day at the office.
