Not a Pretty Sight
Abraham Lincoln and "The Who" collide inside George W. Bush's brain with a resounding "CRASH!":
From Eschaton: George W. Bush says: "There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, 'fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me' -- you can't get fooled again. You've got to understand the nature of the regime we're dealing with."

I feel like I owe Dan Quayle an apology.
If you think the transcript reads badly for GWB then watch the video. Wow.
The video is...well, disturbing. It was like Anna Nichole Smith took over his mind. I wonder what her take on the US economy wrestling with deflation is. Probably something like,
"Well, in Texas...or...LA, low inflation is good, right? So the fundamentals for a...like...strong economy are in place. But it's not...like...strong, youe know. We've got to go to war with Iraq!" (applause)
Where's the video? I could only find audio.
I can't find any online video either. It will surface in time.
BTW - I saw it on MSNBC. The only thing on the MSNBC site is this
Here's the video:
Bush "Fool me once ..." video
So he has trouble turning a phrase. It's preferable to a President that questions the definition of *is*. In brains vs character, I'll take the latter, folks.
Agreed, however I fear his character is worse than his ability to turn a phrase.
Not to mention his idea that the (origional I assume :) quote was only in Texas or Tenneesee, I think shows how out of touch he really is with this country and how little education he must have received. Its scary to think someone with as limited intelligence as him gets to decide weather or not it is better to pursue a non-military or military action on a country whos crimes are yet to be backed up with evidence. Why arent they showing us? the media? The UN? Even countries they are trying to convince to go to war they are not showing evidence. Except for the vague crap Blair came out with which apparently our own president was too stupid to write himself.
Any 8th grader can finish that quote for you.
