Wiki

We still have relatively little idea about how to use the world wide web. Hence we try lots of different things. That's one reason for the total disorganization of this website--my modus operandi is to try things, and keep pushing on things that seem interesting.

One thing I have wanted to try is a so-called "wiki"--a collaborative, open-access, anyone-can-edit set of webpages on a particular topic. Since I learned today that at least one person I know--Adrian Hon--has successfully started one and thus that it is possible for a normal person to do, I think it is time to start one up.

Therefore my next information technology and architecture experiment will be a Collaborative Website for Teaching Macroeconomics (geared to my macro textbook, however).

I was just wondering if there is some story behind why your text shares the same basic cover design scheme as Frank and Bernanke's?

Neat.

Okay, but what's a "wiki"?
