Left on the cutting room floor of this month's Wired column (J. Bradford DeLong (2003), "The Real Shopping-Cart Revolution," Wired (March).) is the fact that the "smart shopper" who buys 5-lb. bags of flour for $0.69 is libertarian intellectual Virginia Postrel.
